This is a great option for cats and dogs with limitations or future limitations! Our dog, although young, has two bad knees and we’re trying to preserve them as long as possible. She took to the ramp very easily because it’s sturdy. It doesn’t wobble and it has good traction. It is very large though!! Works great! Most pet steps are not built for long dogs (dachshunds). These work great for her to get onto the couch and it folds up to an ottoman or seat when needed. I have a 7 year old boxer who has never been comfortable going into the pool…I spotted this and am thrilled with the idea of offering her this option. It shipped quickly and with no issues. A very well thought out piece and design for my Goldens play and exercise yard. It is sturdy painted and hardware is included for assembly. The hinges are already installed which makes it a little easier. The gravel areas on the ramps and deck are a very nice touch. It would have been really nice if an outdoor waterproof varnish had been added as this piece is large and hard to move about and will be outdoors in all weather conditions.
