I don't know what the "45" is supposed to signify, but it is easily removed with a bit of sanding. Some of the background color will come off, but can be touched up with a medium toned scratch repair or similar product. It's a rustic finish, so it works. I love this little cabinet! I like to do my skincare routine in my living room (outside of face washing, of course) instead of the bathroom or bedroom. It's the perfect size to hold not only all the products I use for morning and night, but also the medications we regularly use - just make sure you pay attention to the picture that lists the dimensions, and then measure the space you where you want to put it to make sure it's the right size for you. The little drawers are great for lip balms, eye drops, lighters, and other small things. For anyone complaining that the wood is of poor quality: you're not going to get a new solid wood piece for $40 or less, so not sure what you expected. That said, I actually think it's very well constructed, and the only "cheap"feeling thing about it are the plastic window panes, which another reviewer prettied up with those cute privacy window film, and I think I'm going to do the same myself..
