These are very sturdy stools and the wood is beautiful. BUT. I bought 2 sets. One set was fairly well matched in color, the other was not. One was very yellow on the top and the other fairly dark. In person, they didn't go at all. I solved this because I didn't want the hassle of returning them by painting the tops. Great stools but be aware of the color variation. I bought them hoping that the variation would mean that they matched my table. The difference was too much (and too yellow) hence the paint.. Carol. Dc. Thu Sep 03 2026

Absolutely amazing. Looks high quality and exactly what I wanted. The darker brown wood goes great with original old hardwood floors! Updating my review to say that one of the chairs has already fallen apart 6 months later. If the pre-cut hole is stripped, then the chairs remain loose - which is the case here...watch out for that!. These counter stools are easy to assemble, sturdy, and complement my kitchen as well as adjacent living areas perfectly. I am an 80 senior and assembled my two stools myself. Putting the legs together (first step) was slightly tricky, but every step after went smoothly. The holes for screws are perfectly machined, nicely thought out assembly design. The swivel seats rotate is smooth as can be. In choosing the height for a 36 inch high counter I felt there needed to be something in between the 25 inch and 30 inch stool. I went with a 30 inch stool because the shorter ones seemed too short. I wanted to be able to easily converse with anyone sitting there.. Cee. CO. Tue Jul 28 2026

Absolutely LOVE these chairs and I have had many compliments on them. I put them together myself without too much difficulty until the end of the second chair when I could not get the chair seat secured to the frame. The screw provided was just not long enough. So I had to break down and get a MAN to finish the chair! ;) Oh well - but my kitchen counter looks fabulous with these counter chairs! Don't hesitate to buy -. Dawn. US. Sat May 30 2026
