This cute set is handmade in Lancaster county, PA by our local Amish artisan partners. The wood is reclaimed chicken barn rafters and has all of the characteristics that you would expect from reclaimed barn wood! Our natural variation accent shelves are not stained and the color can vary from piece to piece. With thick and sturdy handmade raw metal brackets, these versatile shelves make a great addition to any room. Please note that the brackets must be mounted into wall studs. All mounting hardware is included.

Great shelf! Easy to install right into studs. One of the L-brackets was clearly less that 90° angle but it didn't actually make a difference. I hung it and everything is level. Color was accurate too. One thing to note: is is not a solid piece of wood. The one I received appears to be at least two pieces glued together. But, it was a pretty seamless joining so I am happy.. I followed the directions and washed the protective oil off of the metal brackets (warm water and dish soap), let them dry completely, and then sealed with clear polyurethane.
