Well my review is mixed. I love the look and I couldn’t find tin backsplash from anywhere else. Everything was faux tin so basically vinyl. These are not aluminum. Some sort of special galvanized so I hope they do not rust. Our problem came when we put a very mild masking tape on the tin to mark our cutting area. As you can see from the picture the paint came off! We were surprised that this would happen considering the cost. Very disappointed. Now I worry how much paint will come off when I clean it. I really like this backsplash it adds extra storage right where I cook and cleans up very easily. The instructions were only a small photo and had quite a few different verisions available which made it a little more complicated to put together and in the book and the sticker on the backsplash both said to take the white plastic off before installing but my plastic was a dark silver so it took me a bit to understand that it needed to come off I thought mine just didn't come with white plastic over it. I had been eying a metallic backslash but was concerned that the kitchen would be too dark. I purchased the white vinyl tile to tie in with the white sink and I am so glad that I did. Its beautiful! Although I used liquid nails, I purchased the kit with edging so that if the tile sags down the road, the edging will keep it in place. I purchased this tile to surround my fireplace. The color was as pictured. Packaged well no broken tiles. Wish tiles were sold separately as well. Thanks for getting this to me , I needed it desperately as mine fell off the house and broke . My only issue was somehow 1 of the screws got bent but I think it can be fix or will not hinder my the installation any. I wasn’t expecting it to have screws at all so it was a bonus . You can see the bent screw in the top right corner! I have been trying to get this for over 45 days from 3rd party sellers with major problems so I am very grateful to get it .
