This is a handcrafted hollow fireplace mantel. Our mantels are hand-made with love and passion. These mantels are as beautiful as they are useful, robust, light, and elegant. The distressed look is achieved by hand with attention to detail. As a result, no two beams are the same and your beam will be one-of-a-kind. Dimensions may vary slightly from selected, due to the nature of the wood and the time effect on it. We use pine boards for our Contemporary mantels. The final product might appear a bit lighter or darker because of the lighting and nature of the wood.

It took longer than expected to receive the countertop but it arrived in immaculate condition and looks amazing. I put on 3 thin coats of wipe-on water based satin polyurethane to protect it and sanded lightly with steel wool in between coats. The polyurethane really brought out the color without adding too much sheen - it is gorgeous. I know there were some unfavorable reviews for this countertop but I recommend it highly.. Terrell. This was a awesome find. Never knew it would be this hard to find a bar top but if you can get your hands on it purchase with confidence. It is finished beautifully and only needs to be installed. I cut mine down about 18 inches to fit a custom bar top install in the basement. The quartz pairing for the lower counter tops look outstanding. If you try to buy this direct the shipping costs are outrageous. Just get it from Wayfair as it ships 10x faster and is actually cheaper when you account for the shipping costs of company direct. These Hevea butcher block countertops were just what I wanted for my new office. They were well packaged and arrived without damage. A few coats of matte poly were easy to apply. Nice smooth edges too so no additional sanding needed. They were less than half the cost of what I could get through my local big box DIY store. Overall great value! Bench is a solid chunk of live edge wood, with the legs being milled wood. One side of the live edge is smooth with the other having marks from the original felling of the tree. I was specifically looking for a 24” x 24” square table for my small apartment, and this worked perfectly for creating a small dining area. The top feels solid, and I paired it with a table base from another seller since this is just the tabletop. The finish wasn’t quite what I expected, but it’s still nice overall. Also worth noting that only one side is finished—the bottom is unfinished. Mine looks similar to the darker wood shown in the first two photos.
