This bookcase was purchased to replace one that was significantly smaller. Additionally, the other bookcase was made of laminate and pressboard that was of decent quality, but didn't quite have the quality to last for the time we desired. Once we received our shipment from Wayfair and unboxed all the pieces, I could see immediately that the quality of the material was far superior to not only our previous bookcase, but also several other products we've purchased from Wayfair. The finish was smooth as silk, and the stain was evenly applied throughout. The hardware to assemble the bookcase was also of superior quality to some of the cheap packs that arrive with other D-I-Y assembled products. NOTE: This product can be assembled by one person, but it would be much quicker and easier with two (or three if you're like me with two eager-to-help young 'uns). One of the trademarks of solid wood furniture is the weight of the finished product. This one indeed was heavy. Granted, non-solid wood furniture can be heavy, but if any of it is light, you can be assured the quality is slight! All in all, we are very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it.. I purchased two and absolutely love them. They look just like the picture and are designed to last. I'm very experienced with attacking this type of project. Assembly is an 8 out of 10 in difficulty because of how long it takes to put it together, and I have large hands, so I was not able to fit my fingers into the smaller spaces to install the support brackets near the end. Vintage Harvest Mushroom Wood Accent Wall Kit, Varying Length and Width, 16 Sq. Ft. No, there are no mushrooms in the wood.... anymore!  However, this Hemlock wood was used in garden beds to grow mushrooms for years. After many years the wood gets an unbelievable weathered texture that only Mother Nature can provide. The brown tones are one of a kind and cannot be found in any other wood. We carefully remove the boards from the growing beds, power wash each board, then Kiln dry them to kill any bugs and then begin the milling process. The planks are 1/2'' thick with lengths up to 48''. This unique wood is definitely a statement piece! Everyone will notice this gorgeous wood as soon as they walk into any room.

I was very happy with this selection of shiplap boards. They were rustic, and easy to work with. Lots of different sizes and shapes allowed me to do something that was creative and not just uniform all the way across. No odors, no bad pieces. They helped me create something very unique. We love this shelf!! and love that we were able to scale it that tall! Our set up is about 101 inches tall! I had to shorten one end at the corner of the room, but that was very easy, and I was able to "customize" it a bit as needed. I was even able to move some of the in shelf nuts to other places to secure the black metal supports! We added a few of the same shelf in shorter lengths to fill two walls of the room. We used almost seven full sections of shelves. Each one will stand on it's own or can be attached to others, which is what we did here. I started looking elsewhere and when I saw this, I loved it. Sent a link to my husband, and he liked it too. Reading the reviews, a few people mentioned that the finish was not totally smooth on the shelves - that has actually played in my favor. I don't have to use bookends for the books I have put on it, so that's a big plus in my opinion. The color is lovely, and it goes well with the furniture in our space.
