I love these lanterns. I bought 2, one tall, one short. They go on my front steps if we're having company (remember those days?) or sit inside next to the front door. They look great in both spots. They do benefit from wood oil so they don't get dried out. Took a while to find an electric candle tall enough for the tall one but I prefer those to real candles because of the mess factor. Cheap quality, wood is very soft and should not be left outdoors will mold easily .
