I'm absolutely in love. When I first pulled out the assembly instructions they were a little intimidating and I didn't realize it suggested digging holes and filling with cement to set the arch. Assembly wasn't difficult at all though and instead of setting in the ground in cement we drilled them to our flower beds for support. Love this arbor! The instructions were very user‑friendly, and overall the assembly was straightforward. It definitely requires two people to put together, but once you get going it comes together nicely. I did have to redrill the holes where the rail attaches to the side lattice, but aside from that the process was simple. My biggest tip is to lay out all the pieces before starting so you can familiarize yourself with the components. Doing that made the assembly much easier. Very happy with the final result.. Diana. It is resistant to mildew and rot, making it well-equipped for its outdoor role.

This product would easily be a 5 star product if it had been shipped in protective foam (it came cracked in 4 places) and if the pre drilled holes were actually pre drilled. It was too much of a hassle to ship back so i accepted a partial refund and kept it. That said it’s only half assembled because of the missing pre-drilled holes. Given the cracks in it I won’t be shocked if it doesn’t survive a heavy wind storm. THAT said, the product is beautiful so i only took off the 1 star even though it was tempting to take off 2 stars. First, this wood has an odor to it that gave me a headache. Then I picked up a few pieces and was shocked by how lite they were. Not a durable quality wood, but something cheaper. Multiple parts are being held together with staples, the wood supports are not even long enough to go from side to side.
