As many people noted, the wood is oily and has a strong scent (eucalyptus?), but it wipes down easily and within a few days the scent isn't noticeable. Assembly was not difficult; just loosely tighten bolts until assembly is complete and then snug them up. I did install one piece upside down and had to do a bit of reassembly, but, even though time consuming, it went smoothly. The table is attractive, sturdy, and light.. David. Elizabethton, TN. This was extremely easy to put together, huge plus. The package came earlier than expected, so I had to make arrangements for someone to collect it as I was not in town. My one issues was the smell, oh my- this was ROUGH. I’m unsure if it was the chemicals, the packaging, I do not know. But it took about two weeks for the major smell to go away- and that’s with using active charcoal packages, baking soda, vinegar- you name it. The smell is still slightly there when I open the drawers where I continue to keep the active charcoal pouches. Outside of that, I am truly happy with the entry table. It was exactly what I was looking for and the ease of putting it together took less than 20 minutes. It took longer to take it out of the packaging. There were a few dents and dings, but not worth me returning and requesting a new one. Highly recommend if you’re looking for this size table.. Tami. Florida. Sun Sep 20 2026

It’s a beautiful heavy solid wood piece. My only critique is that there a bunch of dented circles on the top, possibly from a mallet? Can’t imagine what would have caused that.. Kolleen. Portsmouth, VA. Wed Sep 30 2026
