I was a little nervous based on some of the comments. It is much nicer than expected. It seems very sturdy and stable. Assembly wasn't difficult, but also wasn't a snap. I find it strange that these are described as plant stands. Not because they wouldnt be perfectly good as plant stands. They would. It seems like the items may not have been properly inspected before shipping. Also, the foam packaging that was used to protect the pedestals was glued so firmly., that if we try to remove the foam it is leaving some stains too..
