It's a decent chair. Not bad, but not exceptional either. Pro: It looks very nice, and is made of solid wood. Con: The chair, while made of solid wood, creaks ever so slightly when I sit on it. Now, I'm not worried about myself breaking it, as I only weigh 135lbs. But if I was significantly heavier... I wonder how long it would last. Overall: at time of writing, I reviewed the various options, and this was the nicest quality chair on Wayfair in this price range and in the finish that I wanted. These are solid wood and appear to be decent quality although one of the three we ordered arrived broken then the replacement we received was broken as well. We wanted bar stools that were solid for our island specifically without a swivel that are easy to wipe down and are sturdy. These seem to work well.
