Aesthetically the bifold door is absolutely beautiful. Its heavy and well made. However, I do not like the placement of the knob as it is somewhat difficult to open without putting your hand towards the top bend of the door to help open it. The door is very nice. The dark walnut is beautiful. But the installation was difficult. The instructions were tough to decipher. All the boards in the instructions are numbered, but the boards themselves dont have numbers on them, nor does any of the hardware. All the boards are tongue and groove style. The smaller boards are screwed onto the longer boards, which creates a very solid door. The hinges work very well. The wheels roll smoothly on the track. There are instructions for whether you want it to fold to the left or to the right, but they are VERY confusing. I couldnt make much sense of it. I had to just just figure most of it out myself. They are really pretty, haven’t fully assembled the track or hung them yet (because like other reviews state, the instructions are lacking). Assembling the doors was straightforward but you do have to be really careful with them because the integrity of the planks seems to struggle when too much pressure is applied. I had a couple of boards split a bit but I don’t think it will be an issue long term since they aren’t large cracks.
