While it did take some time to put together, the instructions were straightforward and everything fit together properly. The storage drawers are one of my favorite features. Beautiful bed!. We got the queen size for my granddaughter's room she's doing a beach decor and loves it. The extra storage is perfect for bedding. The rattan on the headboard is pretty thin so that's my only concern i wouldn't recommend it for a younger child as I could see a hole being easily made. Got the king size in Beige. Color is slightly more yellow than in display photo, which appears more greige. Putting the drawers together was definitely tricky and you can't open drawers further back on the side if you have nightstands. But other than it works great and will be ok for the meantime..
