The chair itself I like, it’s sturdy and make of heavy real wood. The chair is pretty comfortable though the quality of the cushions I don’t believe would hold up to long term use. This is in our basement so I think it will be fine for here and there. Why 4 stars The assembly was terrible. The instructions were not clear. They need to provide different Allen wrench, lucky got me my husband had a tool that helped or I was so frustrated. So get yourself the auto retract took or this will take forever to assemble due to the way the holes are set. Also note there should be another step they combined two and it was confusing to the point I had to take part off and redo. It does sit lower for a living room chair too so note that. Pretty comfy. Easy to put together once I figured out their instructions. Their instructions were terrible and photos didn’t help. But once you figure it out, pretty easy. I purchased 2 for my small living room. They’re lower than a normal chair, but sit pretty comfortably. Not sure how long the cushions will last. GREAT QUALITY!!! The arms are solid wood and assembly is really simple. The only be careful is to make sure the seat base is completely centered regarding front and back. Its attached via pocket hole screws and if not properly placed, the screws will drill completely through and be exposed.
