I replaced an older fluorescent light and on its highest setting it is much brighter and now I don’t have to worry about replacing the bulbs. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this to replace an old fluoro fixture and it's been perfect. Nice and bright, and I like the lower profile/close to the ceiling. Easy installation other than the usual old man working over his head my arms are tired issues. We're using in standard on/off mode, not dimmable, so it's great.
