These are solid, heavy lamps. The base is wide enough to support the shade---no chance of them tipping over (I was worried about that!). LOVELY design. Pearlescent Beige panels with Plum Pink Colonial Tulips set atop Spring Green leaves are accented with round Topaz colored jewels on the top portion of the shade while oval Sunburst colored jewels are displayed between the flowers. The art glass shade; which is trimmed with waves of Mahogany granite glass; is created using the famous Meyda Tiffany copperfoil construction process. This lamp is beautiful. I love it, love it. The colors are bright and beautiful. It's very different from my other Astoria Grande Lamp. This is s striking lamp. Well made for the price. The red dragonflies stand out a bit more brightly then anticipated. But never the less, a keeper. I might use a lower wattage to tone the red down.
