Only reason for 4 stars is that the “white light” option is too bright white/ cool in color for my liking. If it were a warm white I would be totally in love with these sconces! Remote works well. I have been looking for just the right pieces to enhance the area over my mantel and these fit the bill. Installation entails using two screws to apply a plate which the lights fit over. It took around four hours to charge them initially; I can't speak to how well they hold a charge as we didn't really purchase them for extra light. Charging is as easy as charging your phone and they come with two charge cords. They do have dimmers and a remote. These are really nice sconces! They look high end, but are rechargeable so no hardwiring required! I did deduct a star because the shades arrived damaged. Besides the shade damage I would completely get them again! Love that the bulbs look like bulbs (and are so easy to recharge)! I was a bit unsure of these sconces at first because of the exposed wire and the size but I took a chance and they exceeded my expectations. They are absolutely lovely in person! The backplates also allowed us to drill screws in many spots we like so we could tweak to make sure hitting the studs. These lights have a bit of weight to them so you’d wanna secure at least one screw on the stud. Especially because you’d have to take the bulb off and charge them often.
