I spent a full days pay on a SH trashcan when I was first starting out on my own. Guess what, though That trashcan sits in my kitchen to this day some 10 years later. So if this laundry hamper is half as amazing as their trashcans are, 150 seems more than reasonable. Regarding the actual product, its sturdy and has a decent capacity. I suspect the removable section will either be used every time I do laundry or never again - time will tell, and Ive only had it in my possession for all of 24 hours. I love these so much! They go perfectly in our master bathroom. So beautiful. A tad clunky to wheel around but nothing bad. We have used these alot, pushing them around, carrying, etc...and it holds up with the abuse we put it through with 3 young boys who end up playing with it as well. It is very well made, the inner cloth liner fits snugly over thr edge and the band of bamboo holds it on so nicely. You dont even see the cloth liner when the lid is closed.
