I received my order, earlier this afternoon, delivered by FEDEX ground delivery service. These trees seem to be made of very high quality materials and great attention has been paid to every detail of the cedar foliage. Once placed, these trees should look quite good. It is my intention to place each tree in front of posts on either side of a timber-frame sign on the front lawn. Last year I had placed potted plants, in large planters, all along the base of the sign and the sign looked quite good until we received very strong gusty spring winds and the plants kept getting knocked over. Also, the deer decided that the plants should be part of the menu and, needless to say, the plants looked pretty rough in a short period of time. Some of our spruce trees also have spruce bud worm and this species doesn't care if they are eating spruce needles or cedar foliage. This is why I have decided to use these faux cedar trees. It will be interesting to see how well they hold up once the ground is thawed enough to install them in front of the sign.
