The pillowcases are a lovely addition to the set. If you have stiff pillows, they will stand up just as you see in the product image. Softer pillows like mine do not stand up like the image but they are still beautiful. There are corner ties on each edge of the comforter and there is a lovely blue shade on the reversible side. I ordered this light summer quilt as part of new components to make our bedroom into a French countryside retreat. I was delighted with the gradient green part of the leaves in the print that goes perfectly with the sage green paint color I chose and the olive green sheets that I also ordered from Mayfair. The shams seem quite enormous and may need new special pillows to stuff them with. The reverse phase has a fresh delicate print.
