My chair arrived intact and on day expected. The FedEx driver was putting it on the carport which was great due to expect. I asked if he could take to my feet family room door just about 15-20 ft from where he was leaving it and he did, earning him a tip. The chair had no damage and I noted that the dust cover at bottom of the chair was actually cloth instead of the paper like stuff that’s often used. I’m 79 yo and moved the box into the house, removed and inspected everything by myself. I attempted to attach the wings to the back but was unable to get the brackets to slide into each other so had to wait for help. Once that was done the rest was easy. I love the color and like many have said in reviews the seat is hard. I expect it will soften up with uses. The fabric is nice and I expect to get many years of use from this chair. The chairs arrived a few days after a fierce winter storm that left us with 10 inches of snow followed by three inches of ice and no power. It is very pretty and sophisticated color. The golden legs and the golden trim are beautiful. Easy to put it together. Fabric is soft to touch. However, it is very hard to sit on. I bought a pair for comfort sitting but it was too firm to be comfortable. The customer service said that over time it would soften but not sure whether it is possible. Even though it says you can sit for a long period of time but not at all comfortable. It is like sitting on a wood stool. Watch out for the 'High-Density Form' wording in the description. This chair, in my opinion is truly for decoration/accent purpose primarily and for someone who needs to sit on a very hard cushion. The cushion is attached to the chair so you cannot replace the cushion. It is now for my tow cats sleeping together and since it is slippery type of velvet, they do not attack the fabric.
