The wood is of nice quality and not just a finished particle board which makes the price very reasonable for the quality of the furniture. The assembly took a little over an hour but was not difficult nor was following the instructions with all tools and screws included, you just have to assemble every piece including the drawers. This sideboard is FABULOUS! I was pleasantly surprised with the quality, ease of assembly, and sleek design. It is also bigger than I pictured in my head and the perfect size for my dinette! I can't wait to organize my things on it. It will be a statement piece if my vision came to life the way I planned.
