They are kind of ‘rugged’ — I was hoping for a little more elegance but really good product for the price if the look works for you. I ordered this shade for my front door that is mostly glass. It arrived quickly and was packaged well. It doesn’t completely eliminate the ability to see outside as you can see in the picture above but filters it. This is perfect for what I needed. Price was reasonable and quality is ok. the clip buckle adds 2/5 inch on each side (total 4/5 inch). Therefore, make sure your window width is at least 27 inch or larger for an INSIDE mount. For OUTSIDE mount, add 1-4 inches wider to your window opening width for better light blocking.
