I gave these three stars because I don’t know if the box being all bent up with the cause of the lights or if they just don’t unravel. They were in a really skimpy black bag so when I opened them up, I noticed some of the lights were bent oval shaped, so I un did untangled one strand. It does not straighten out no matter how much I try it will not straighten out. They’re beautiful and bright. They just won’t work out. I tried to put them in a share that I had already because they don’t come with the curtain that’s shown in the picture which was a real surprise to me. But there’s nothing to hang them on in this year and they have these little plastic cooks. I tried everything I could cause. I really really them against a wall where I have a karaoke machine behind a panel. I’m gonna see if I can repurpose them for Christmas decorations, cause they’re really nice lights. Although I have only had it for a few brief moments as I bought it in preparation for the holidays as I wanted to ensure that I had it available the very moment I start decorating for the holiday season so my comments are based on the few minutes I have tested them and I have no information regarding longevity. I have seen versions of this light around town for the past two holiday seasons. They are extremely eye catching and give a one of a kind look that very few people will have. If you are a little like me and like to show your neighbors up with your holiday lights you can't go wrong by buying these lights. They are the most gorgeous lights you could hope to find and will be an instant conversation piece. The tubes easily unscrew from the central hub to allow for easy disassembly / storage. The packaging could / should be improved as the light rods are only protected by a little bubble wrap. Although nothing was damaged in route you may want to find a better way to store them in the off season. Although I must admit I'm not sure how to better store them at this point.. Stephen.
