There were a few hairline cracks in the large pieces of Flexstone but the contractor thinks he can work around those. The glue was a total loss but we purchased some locally for our project.(A piece of cardboard at the tips would have saved the glue)the top of the box was smashed. Urethane crown moulding has become an increasingly popular choice for homeowners and builders alike due to its myriad benefits. Unlike wood, which can warp, crack, or rot over time, urethane is highly resistant to moisture and temperature changes. This makes it an ideal choice for areas prone to humidity or extreme weather conditions. Whether it’s installed in a bathroom, kitchen, or basement, urethane crown moulding maintains its shape and integrity, ensuring a long-lasting and reliable finish. Another notable advantage is its lightweight nature. Its lightweight characteristic simplifies handling and installation, making urethane crown moulding a popular choice for DIY projects and professional installations alike. Maintenance is another area where urethane crown moulding excels. Wood moulding requires regular upkeep, including painting, sealing, and potential repairs due to damage from pests or moisture. Urethane, on the other hand, does not attract pests, does not absorb water, and is resistant to cracking and chipping. A simple wipe with a damp cloth is usually sufficient to keep it looking new, making it an attractive option for those who prefer a low-effort maintenance routine.

This small red oak panel colonial moulding is ideal for small craft projects or for providing architectural detailing when combined with other trims. Traditionally used as a panel moulding, this profile is also an ideal finishing trim for furniture or cabinetry. A wonderfully versatile little moulding with almost endless possibilities. It is especially effective when used in panel effects along with Ornamental Mouldings colonial trim moulding or as a low-cost alternative to enhancing your existing plain cabinetry.

This moulding was the closest I could find to replace rotted moulding on my homes windows. Good product!. Kevin. MA. Sun May 03 2026

Our appliques and onlays are the perfect accent pieces to cabinetry, furniture, fireplace mantels, ceilings, and more. Each pattern is carefully crafted after traditional and historical designs. Each polyurethane piece is easily installed, just like wood pieces, with simple glues and finish nails. Another benefit of polyurethane is it will not rot or crack, or warp. It comes to you factory primed and ready for your paint, faux finish, gel stain, marbleizing and more.

Very nice. Thick. Darla. SC. Sun Jul 19 2026
