We love this catio! We use it for an out door enclosure for rehabbing opossums. We added a lot of branches for climbing, and the metal wiring is the perfect size to keep raccoons out and opossums in. The nest boxes are great too! We’re extremely happy with the purchase and the opossums are too! There’s a small door on the bottom which works great for soft release is on your property. This is a very nice cat shelter for the feral cat that has moved into my yard . Very simple to assemble, sturdy and looks like it will hold up in the Midwest weather. We bought this Cat Enclosure because we can not let our cats roam around outside where we live. It took a while to get this cat enclosure assembled but the directions were pretty clear and almost all the parts were labeled. The parts that were not labeled were pretty easy to figure out what they were. There were many different sizes of bolts and screws but all the bolts used the same locking nuts. The assembly job would have been a lot easier if two people were to do it and I would definitely recommend doing the assembly with two people. Well see how they like being in it. Good size for our 2 cats. Wood is very lightweight but it does sturdy up when attached to the house. I did paint all wood parts with our house color and painted the wire black to make it more see through. Added a door handle/knob too. It’s cuter and blends in much better with these touches. For the most part I was happy with my purchase. It was very easy to put together, but the quality was not as good as I was hoping for for the amount of money I spent on it. I had the wood split three times when I was trying to attach the wheels and as you see in a couple of the pictures you can see a back panel that was pre-assembled had a screw put in at an angle and it broke through the wood and now I have a sharp screw sticking through.. Love this little cathouse! My husband and I built a deck to elevate the house for our two stray cats. They haven’t gone inside yet, but have been up on the deck to eat and check out the house. I have no doubt once they try it out they will love it❤️. It seems to be a fairly sturdy little house and was pretty easy to put together.
