The magnets are sewn on both sides of the curtain. The triple-knit magnetic sheer curtain door can block 70% to 95% of sunlight and ultraviolet rays, ensuring privacy and effectively insulating and keeping warm. The product includes a panel, a bracket, and adhesive fixing straps, making installation quick and easy. It has a slot design for flexible installation. It can protect furniture and floors, cool down in summer and keep warm in winter. It is fixed with both magnetic clips and magnetic rods, and the height can be adjusted. It can be machine washed, using mild detergent, and cannot be bleached. It can be turned over for drying or ironed.

These are in the style of a Roman shade, which is a nice concept for covering the glass panel in French Doors. They are magnetic, so easy to position up or drop down. However, instead of some type of metal or sturdy resin material, the “rod” inserts at the back of the shade are cheap plastic tubes which do not fit tightly enough or stay together very well— when inserting to the back of the curtain, the sections come apart. There are several colors to choose from, and the material is lightweight, but blocks even the strong sunlight we have in the desert. This design is very pretty, and I love it! There is barely any odor, and it dissipated right away. My one-bedroom apartment has a slim window next to the front door with window blinds. I keep the blinds slightly open for more light and to feel less closed in. I wanted a privacy film to be able to have the blinds open and create more light and openness, as apartment living usually means a unit's windows all face one direction. The door and this slim window face a different direction. It's not full coverage/privacy, and that's okay. Someone outside would have to put their face right up to get a clear view of the inside, and I doubt anyone would be doing that. I've included photos from the inside and outside my door, plus during different times of the day with varying sunlight, and with the blinds how I used to keep them closed. There is a little bit of rainbow effect, depending on how much sunlight hits the film. Note #1: from the outside, a lot of soap/water bubbles showed, and it's necessary to keep smoothing them out. You may not see the bubbles from outside if your window is above the first floor with no way to easily access it from outside, but then it won't matter anyway. I used a microfiber cloth for the finishing touches. Note #2: while applying and smoothing out the water, have a cloth to soak up the water that will be getting squeezed out to the edges.
