It is packed with the edges folded in, creating four corner creases. I followed the instructions to iron out the creases on the steam setting, and it took no more than 5 minutes to smooth out those creases. The felt fabric is very thick and sturdy, and the upper edges do not slouch. I use it for my laundry, and my cats claim it for themselves when not in use.
