Revival made a better washable rug. Made of recycled materials and done in calm neutrals, with an extraordinarily comfortable pile, these pieces are not mats: they’re the real deal, thick and soft to cushion every step. Plus, their lightness and foldability makes washing easy. The Vessel rugs celebrate the art of basketweaving, drawing on intricate patterns and textures that have been passed through generations. Just as there are myriad techniques of rug weaving, there are many ways to weave a Vessel. Each design’s texture mimics the techniques of coiling, plaiting and twining, achieved by juxtaposing raised and shrunken parts of the fiber. Willow’s all-over design features thin tone-on-tone wiggly stripes that create a checkered look with a classic plain weave.
