Update after one year the reclining mechanism broke on one side so it cannot be reclined. The thin underside fabric that holds the stuffing in place has ripped on the other side. There’s not a proper way to reattach the fabric to hold the stuffing. I’ll be surprised if it lasts another year. A really great reclining sofa. The micro suede fabric is comfortable and looks nice. As a heads up for some people using micro suede for the first time, you should not use spray on deodorizer. Make sure you look up ways to clean a micro suede sofa. As other people have mentioned, the armrests are a little bit low, but not terrible. I think they’re a great position for when leaning off to the side, a little bit or even laying down across the sofa. The reclining handle is responsive and not hard to pull. The actual reclining feature is wonderful. There’s just enough resistance in the leg lift so that you don’t have to push too hard to make it go down or lift your legs up to make it go up. The center seat is also very comfortable. I have no complaints whatsoever about this sofa on day one In my photo, I have added a white and a purple PlayStation five controller for color reference. There is a slight green tint to the sofa when viewed with LED lightbulbs. But in natural sunlight, it does have a true grayish color. The couch is comfortable. The material is very soft. It arrived in three boxes. If you’re not that tall, your feet won’t touch the ground. However the sofa slides out making it like a shorter version of a chaise. That is a great feature. It has two storage spaces that aren’t that big but adequate. Once assembled the sofa is a mediocre sofa due to the fact that there isn’t any way to make the back cushions look neat and perfect. It may take time before they fluff up a little more. The headrests don’t seat all the way in which is frustrating, but you can arrange the material to cover it. The sofa comes with two matching throw pillows, but I will be adding my own. The assembly instructions are not the best, but we figured it out through patience. Some of the cushion slides are hidden in the couch, and I feel that the manufacturer should have noted that in the installation book. It took us quite a while to figure that out. Got this beautiful black velvet electric recliner sofa and its absolutely amazing. It took some time to assemble each seat with its own motor but not difficult. Comes with a remote control to pull out all the 3 seats to make a bed or individual for reclining. What makes it smooth to make the bed or back to a sofa is it has wheels in the front for better control.
