My head is about an inch higher then the height of the seat. Chair is stiff but will break in. The fabric is will seems yo feel on the warm side. Lastly I am concerned that with some use the print looks like it may wear off. I can't be certain about that. Hope this helps anyone who may be comptemplating purchasing these chairs. We bought this for an area in our LR that was limited on space. It fits perfectly. I love the colors (blue pin stripped). It works perfectly as our “odd chair” as we have an oversized sofa and chair. FedEx misdelivered it but I finally got it. Its a nice quality chair. I put it together by myself, I am not mechanically inclined. Theres something not perfect about the footrest closing and I am still troubleshooting but i have to say that for the money its a sturdy, comfy, pretty chair and i really like it. I bought an open box one and all parts were present, chair was intact and fine in every way. It was not that hard to put together, having a second person helps immensely and use a real screwdriver.
