okay love how the couch came out! I had a family friend build this and it took him a couple hours alone. I would say it was relatively easy. however the pillows are flatter than i assumed, they don’t have much structure to them in terms of laying on them , but that makes sense with them acting as the “back board”. I would recommend adding some pillows to lounge on instead of these. The comfort of it is alright, still kinda stiff feeling but i’m hoping when i use it more i’ll kinda break it in. I absolutely love this couch! I measured it out with painter’s tape on my floor beforehand to make sure it would fit, and somehow I was STILL surprised by how freaking huge it was! Thankfully, it fits, and it’s also super comfortable. I had pretty much resigned myself to never ordering a couch online again after my last one ended up being way too firm. But after weeks of researching, I finally committed to this one, and I don’t regret it at all Also, you HAVE to fluff the pillows! I was a little worried after seeing some of the review photos where the pillows looked really flat, but they just need some attention. I literally punched and fluffed each one for about 2–3 minutes, and I swear they puffed right up! So if they look flat when you first unpack them, don’t panic. Give them a good beating first. Lastly, I saw a few reviews mentioning that some of the holes for the legs weren’t drilled. I almost feel like those reviewers may not have read the directions because the “missing holes” are actually on the end pieces. The middle section is the only piece where all four legs are screwed directly into the bottom. Once you follow the instructions and see how the pieces fit together, it makes sense. That would be fine if the foam underneath was good quality. It is not. It is surprisingly hard foam. That being said, for the 850 it cost, I’m not too upset. The linen type fabric is nice and the installation wasn’t too bad. Took me a few hours to do it solo. Having an Allen key drill bit will save you so much time. The foam takes a couple days to fully expand and the fabric is crazy wrinkled when first taken out of the vacuum seal bag. I steamed the fabric and the wrinkles came out almost immediately, so that was nice. The couch gives the look I wanted and is fine to sit on for a couple of hours. I would just spend more on a nicer sofa if ultimate comfort is your main priority. If cost is your main priority, then this will serve you just fine as long as you know what to expect!. Colby. FL. This foam sofa is definitely an oversized love seat. Unboxing it was astonishing! Once the plastic is cut the couch starts to take shape so have plenty of room around it.
