A Design Dua original design, the nap & pack basket is made to complement your home after use as a Moses basket for your newborn. It easily blends into home decor. This creative design is safe for use as a Moses basket but remains a beautiful home decor piece afterward. They call their bassinets, "nature's bassinets", as they are completely handmade with dried natural elephant grass. Elephant grass is similar to hardened hay. Our products have been tested by a US CPSC-approved laboratory for safety. Baskets are not to be used with any other pillows or mattresses. Bilia means newborn in Gurenɛ, a dialect attributed to the originators of this craft. Made from elephant grass and dyes, this Moses basket bassinet is beautifully handcrafted for your newborn. They call their bassinets "Nature's Bassinets", as they are completely handmade with dried natural elephant grass. Elephant grass is similar to hardened hay. Each basket takes several days to weave from start to finish. This is a very difficult, completely handwoven craft, as a result, patterns and natural dyeing may vary slightly. The bassinet arrived in a box that had definitely seen better days. I believe it had already been sent back by someone else. We put it together and tried it, and the glide motion was very jerky and made a noise. It didn't appear to sit evenly on the base. I believe the item is defective which is probably it was so much cheaper than other platforms, and appeared to have already been sent back. We retuned the item but unfortunately had to pay $32 return shipping charge for a defective item.. Kayla. Raceland, LA. Tue Sep 29 2026
