The cushions are thick enough to be comfortable as well. If this chair is going to be exposed to the elements, you will need a cover. The manufacturer also recommends that it not be left outside in freezing temperatures. That makes sense to me, although the woven fibers of this chair feel to have some kind of protective coating. I cannot give a reasonable review of the chairs that I should be reviewing, because I didn’t get the chairs, and instead, I got two ottomans. The chairs look like very nice chairs in the picture, but obviously, this is not the outcome I wanted!
