Overall it works for now and would’ve been a 5 if the color was true gold. I was surprised at the lampshade on this arc lamp. It’s absolutely beautiful. The lamp itself is super easy to assemble and fairly large. The arc is moderate, but looks fantastic over a sofa. There is a foot pedal switch and long cord. I really love how this piece came together and makes my space look cozy, but also is very functional as a reading light over the sofa where my kids often times do their homework. This lamp is a little heavy than expected, which is great.
