Okay. Been using this table as a desk/lego building table for almost a month. This is a nice sturdy pretty table. Its been living in our living room while shelving is being built out in our office, so thats where I've been using it, and thats why there is a table in the middle of my living room. Love the color, looks just like the picture did. It was fairly easy to assemble, HOWEVER, don't do like me and not look over the entire assembly instructions (pictures only) before you start. There are 2 holes in the bottom of each leg for a support brace, well I didnt notice the holes, and there w weren't any holes in the picture directions until I got to that support assembly part.
And of course.... I had BOTH legs on with the holes facing out, so I had to take both legs off, flip them and then put them back on. With that dumb move, it took me about 45 minutes....7 or 8 of those was me chasing the dog around the house after he would swipe something from my assembly area.
This table makes a great desk, no drawers obviously, but it looks great with a lamp and one chair at it. It also looks good with dining chairs at it. Hosted a bunco evening and it was used as one as our game tables and we are ROUGH, everyone has on ridiculous bracelet and rings and watches and you're rolling the dice and trying to grab them, etc.... the top still looks brand new. (We normally bust/scratch through the padded tops of regular little folding card tables while playing).
The directions weren't the best in the world, but if you pay attention you'll be fine.
The value of this table is great, it's a big look for not bad of a price. I love the wood look with the black metal.
There was a scratch on the top of the bottom bar of one of the legs, not a scratch, a scuff I guess, but the paint was missing. I plan on hitting that spot with some black nail polish once the table gets moved into its permanent home. The way the table was packaged, the damage had to have happened before it was boxed. Nobody will probably ever notice it, but for the scuffed leg, and the directions that left much to be desired, im going with a solid 4. I wish I could give it a 4.5.. Sarah. Galveston, TX.
