Quality cupola! I installed this on a backyard shed that has a ridge vent. I cut the ridge vent as recommended in the installation instructions - a bit nerve-racking, but it turned out fine. First of all, it arrived 1 day early which was fine with me. My contractor used the copper weather vane I provided and installed the copper roofed cupola with mermaid on the top of the garage at my new home. It really finishes "the look" of the garage. The reason I gave 4 stars is because the unit should of had screens put on inside to prevent wasp nests etc. just like any other roof venting unit.
