Pretty chairs, exactly as pictured. Easy to assemble. The chairs are pretty deep so you cant sit back in them comfortably... but I have boys on the verge of being teenagers so no one sits in a chair normally in my house anyhow! If you like to curl up and read, the chairs are perfect for that. I would say that since I like to move furniture around a lot, these are not the best chairs for that. When I pull on the back of the chair to move it, the back starts to come off - its not broken - its just pulling up along the metal slide that it slots into. This is a nice chair. It's pretty comfortable to sit in but it's lightweight and not what I'd call heavy/solid. Even so, I got the light brown color which is actually a very nice dark warm beige. It's soft and the seat part is also comfortable and soft/no springs. It's easy to put together. I wish they made a slightly smaller version, with a shorter seat length (I'm 5'4" 120 pounds) but you're probably bigger than I am so it would be alright for you. No damage upon receiving it.
