Wow! This is cute. I was scared because I had to cut my drywall to recess it into the wall. I found my studs, marked them, centered the shelf in-between. I had my daughter hold it up, i traced it with a pencil and cut it out with a drywall knife. It slid right in. I screwed it to the studs....so easy. The whole process took 20 minutes. I love it. An old addition to the house presented restrictions while renovating the bathroom. This vertical triple-shelf shower niche was the perfect solution! While the width was able to fit between the 12” between the studs, the shelves are still large enough to fit economy-size bottles. We purchased 2 to install side-by-side. With the cut-out measurements available on Wayfair, our contractor was able to rough out the walls before the niches arrived, and they arrived quickly!
