This shelf insert is very nice. It’s heavy which makes it feel like quality. The white finish is flawless. The shelves are already built in so no assembly required, which is fantastic. There are zero seams on the faceframe of the unit, which really makes it feel like a high quality built-in product. There is a slight hairline crack on the inside backing, but it’s not super noticeable and I’m thinking once it’s installed and filled, it won’t even be noticeable. Wow! This is cute. I was scared because I had to cut my drywall to recess it into the wall. I found my studs, marked them, centered the shelf in-between. I had my daughter hold it up, i traced it with a pencil and cut it out with a drywall knife. It slid right in. I screwed it to the studs....so easy. The whole process took 20 minutes. I love it. Fully adjustable glass shelves inside. Our unique, patented design of shelf supports keeps each shelf in place. Concealed hinges with soft close built-in ensure the door will never slam shut, but softly close on its own instead. The box is solid pine and the Shaker-style door is solid maple. We’ve painted the inside of the box white, so you don’t have to! The door is primed and ready for you to paint it. The box is 3.5” deep inside and gives you plenty of usable depth, but fits in standard 2x4 walls. This model has two doors that open to reveal two separate cabinet sections. The Cabinet box is 12.5" wide inside. Doors are reversible to open either Left or Right. Completely assembled! All you need to do is put one screw in each hinge to mount the door.
