The scounces are of durable material. They do light up nicely. More light than expected. Best mounted on a flat sided house. We have plank siding and had to make some adjustments. Also, the screws that hold the glass in place will not come out. The glass has haze on the inside, which I cannot get to to clean. Kind of dissappointed.
