Ok, giving this 4.5 stars for aesthetic and solid wood frame. HOWEVER, please be cautioned There were some dings and splintering that are fortunately hidden after assembly with one acception. The assembly itself self took 2.5 hrs with a couple sanity breaks. Each spindled piece has an item sticker that would be visible and thus needed removal. I ruined my nails and spent 10x as long removing stickers and the glue as I did putting the head and footboard together. After FINALLY getting this bed put together, I almost cried contemplating the labor intensive deconstruction that would be required to take it out of the room. This project is not for the faint of heart. It is, indeed, a project. I would not deduct stars as paying for assembly is an option. Also, an oversight on my part, but the bedframe will not house a mattress and box spring, only a mattress. My biggest frustration was the assembly, and second the blemishes on the frame. Of course I cannot handle breaking down to return for replacement pieces, but generally I would recommend if youre going for appearance.. Laurel. Ormond Beach, FL. Mon Aug 03 2026

Reinforced wood slats deliver uniform mattress hold without box springs. Nail‑fastened slat structure cuts creaks and wobbles for peaceful nights. Very cute. Looks exactly like the picture. Doesn’t feel as sturdy as described, but it looks nice and works well. The frame is a bit larger than I expected. With my king mattress on the frame there’s still about a two inch gap between the matters and the frame on both the top and the bottom. So about a total of 4 inches. I’d imagine with a fuller comforter this could be easily hidden.. Cassandra. Ridgecrest, CA. Sun Oct 04 2026
