The curtains are very pretty. All of the reviews confirm this, but let’s get down to the nitty gritty. Comparing the room darkening curtains to my blackout curtains and you can see the light permeates through. Not bad, but my blackout curtains you couldn’t tell if it was day or night outside but with the room darkening curtains you can see when it’s light outside. I have put photos to see the comparison. I love the fabric used in these cafe curtains, it’s substantial yet soft.
