Great value and lots of useful storage I bought this console for my piano room to hold sheet music and display music memorabilia, and it works beautifully for that purpose. For its relatively compact size, it holds much more than I expected, and I really like the combination of the wood-look shelves and curved black metal frame. It looks more substantial in the room than the price would suggest. I gave it four stars rather than five because assembly was more difficult than it needed to be. A few pieces required quite a bit of maneuvering to get the holes aligned, and one threaded hole was especially difficult to get a screw started in. The fit and finish could be a little more precise. Well constructed came in minimal parts that needed to be put together. The one small thing is the Allen wrenches that came with. It were a little hard to use so we have this tool with different size Allen wrenches that I ended up using and then tightened everything with the Allen wrench that came certainly could put it together with the tools they sent. We purchased two of these consoles for our living room. They were the perfect length and depth to fill the space where our tv is hung. We paid for Wayfair assembly bc there are so many pieces and while that was helpful, we noticed the assembly pro put a piece on backwards and the baseboards of each piece are different (see photo). Luckily customer service was helpful and they rescheduled the pro to come back out and fix it. But the assembly pro texted and said “there’s nothing wrong with the assembly, it’s just not level…” which is incorrect.
