While it does look nice, it’s not the best choice for my home since I have young children, and it makes me more cautious about daily use. Overall, I would recommend this set to someone without small children who is looking for a delicate, visually appealing dining set. So overall we really like these chairs. They match my daughter’s table perfectly and look really good. The labels on the parts did not match the assembly instructions which was quite confusing. It is MDF..A step above cardboard. There are gaps in the pieces of the table where its joined together. Like when you see a leaf in the middle. And the base of the table keeps you from your legs going anywhere as they will be hitting the base. It looks good. But you can tell its MDF and not wood.. But I used high end chairs and it looks amazing but I know this table, won't last long. It was easy to put together. And if you want a nice looking table for a good price just get it.
