The color is perfect. It’s a soft brown color and blends nicely with a lot of color schemes. The boucle fabric is super soft and does not look cheap. It came packaged nicely. It was flat but you simply pop it open, put the liner inside and you are ready to use. As you can see, it is pretty deep for storage purposes. There is also not a smell so I feel good about using for storage immediately. Likewise, this is pretty lightweight so you can move to a lot of places and the compact size will fit well in various spaces. I recommend as a cute storage piece. Just to note, I ordered this 3 times before it was actually delivered. We have a shoeless house so this small benchshoe organizer is perfect without being in the way. It would hold 8 pairs of my size 7 shoes or 6 of my BFs size 10.5. Only his flip flops will fit on top (my sneakers and low heels fit fine). High heels or don’t fit here and I doubt men’s size 11 or larger would fit. The cushion is loose and optional. We will likely add an adhesive if we don’t swap out. I addd contact paper inside to help with wear and tear.
