Exactly what I needed as far as size, sturdiness, and looks, but I just wiped off the top and a whole section of varnish wiped right off. I'm waiting for the manufacturer to contact me for a resolution and will change this review if they take care of the issue. The table itself feels VERY sturdy and heavy duty. It is attractive in appearance and I appreciate the option of having a bench for my younger kiddos. The only downside I see to this set is the wood grain grooves in the table and chairs they are very deep and fine grooves so I could see food or things like play-doh getting stuck or trapped in the grooves.
