This bed is more off-white or cream rather than white, which is what I was hoping for. The boucle is nice and the headboard is thick enough so that it doesn’t look cheap. It has a very low profile and I switched out the black plastic feet for some wood ball feet I found online. This gives the bed an extra designer look and gave it 2” more in height. This boucle bed is very cute. It looks just like the pictures advertised. The bed feels sturdy and was EXTREMELY easyquick to put together— it maybe took me a little over an hour simply because of the amount of screws you have to install. The color of the boucle is a fabulous off white, and the feet are a complementary darker wood with gold caps. The boucle material is soft, doesn’t look or feel cheap, and is easy to clean with a quick vacuumlint rollspot clean. Logistics-wise, it came in one tall, skinny box that was heavier than I could carry by myself. It wasn’t impossible to shimmy it inside alone, but it’d definitely be safer moving with two people given the size. The ONLY negative about this piece is the height of the headboard. This bed is exactly what I was looking for and even better than expected. It was very easy to put together and as you build it, it’s apparent how quality and well-designed it is. The slats are genius. There are two sets of six slates, each attached by a Velcro strap at each end. The Velcro straps then attach to the top of the bed frame. Lots of issues during shipment. Some help from customer service, but my assembly service was canceled so I had to hire someone to assemble. Item was protected by inside wrapping. Outside box did not hold up well to so many trips off and on trucks 3 times over the whole continent. Assembly instructions did not match this item and holes drilled did not match up correctly.
