The furniture does the job is meant to do., a sidebar. Although some reviews mentioned the instructions were difficult to follow and others said it took them 2 days to put together, I was able to follow them. Some graphics were not cleared, but after analyzing the furniture and deduction of which side goes were, get werent that bad to follow. I put it together by myself in a few hours. Yes, the paint coat is very thin and easily be scratched. I placed a rubber runner on top to protect it and it work well. My only complaint is that the bottom doors hinges pre-drilled holes were made too forward. As result, it causes the doors to rub the frame and not closing, unless forced closed. This is an adorable small sideboard cabinet. It’s small but it’s a perfect size to sit next to my hutch as a coffee station. I took a gamble with purchasing this table. At the time of purchase, there were only 3 review. I was looking for a budget friendly upgrade with storage for my small dinning room. The assembly wasn’t too bad, but I feel that they could’ve had a better blueprint for the back on the console. I also had to improvise screwing in the screws, since there weren’t any predrilled holes. Also the doors aren’t as symmetrical as advertised. This traditional looking sideboard with adjustable shelves makes a great storage unit for kitchens, living rooms and entryways. It is made of MDF with a wide countertop that is water and moisture resistant and features 4 legs and a center support leg that can hold up to 275 pounds. The two drawers feature metal glides for easy maneuverability, and the cabinets below have adjustable shelves on the inside for easy storage of dishes, tablecloths and utensils, and top space for frequently used items and decorative accessories.

I’m very happy with it. It took a bit of time, but I was slow and cautious and deliberate, and I would say it went together quite easily. There are a couple of little white scuff areas that I need to clean up. There is a gap of maybe a half inch between the two doors on the left. Ideally they would meet. It doesn’t bother me too badly because it still looks black. Hopefully the surface will hold up overtime. This piece is so stunning. I received so many compliments. It was the perfect addition for our space. The packing was great. The packing was perfectly secured and detailed. I was worried about the possibility of it being damaged due to the delivery driver not being gentle with it. My husband and I put it together. The directions at first appears to be self explanatory however, look at the ending of the instructions if you question a step at the beginning. Pretty easy to assemble, took maybe 2 hours by myself. Directions were simple to follow. The doors needed a little tweaking here and there at the end so that they were all flush and evenly spaced but easy enough to do by adjusting the door hinges. I absolutely love this credenza! I purchased it for my entryway, and it has completely transformed the space. The assembly took me about two hours, but the instructions were easy to follow, I did not add the inside shelf, instead I placed wicker baskets inside. I agree with others who said instructions were good but allow TIME to assemble. Sturdier than expected. Very attractive. Wish I could tell the one with the complaints about gap between doors ...
